Talk about a lucky find - we literally stumbled onto Kinshachi Yokocho and what a cool little food street it turned out to be! It's not huge, but they've packed a lot of character into this spot near Nagoya Castle. The way they've split it into two distinct zones is pretty clever - you've got your traditional Edo-style buildings in the Yoshinao area if you're feeling old-school, or the more modern Muneharu section if you want something contemporary.

What makes it fun is how they've managed to squeeze both traditional Nagoya specialties and some creative modern dishes into such a compact space. You can go from slurping up miso udon to trying some fusion Italian all within a few steps.

The 10 PM closing time is perfect for that post-sightseeing hunger, though honestly, it's the kind of place that works any time of day. Small but mighty - that's the best way to describe this little food paradise!
