Coney Island, also known as Serangoon Island, is a 133-hectare island off the northeastern coast of Singapore. Originally owned by entrepreneur siblings Aw Boon Haw and Aw Boon Par, it was later sold to an Indian businessman with plans to turn it into a resort inspired by Coney Island in New York. After land reclamation works in the 1970s and 1990s, the island now boasts Coney Island Park, a nature park managed by the National Parks Board. It's a popular spot for activities like jet skiing and camping, but watch out for litter on the beaches!
