In summer months, Franschhoek can get very hot, especially in January and February. In winter months you can expect rain every now and again, but the most beautiful days are during the winter months. Some of the Proteas also bloom during winter, which is stunning to see! The weather in Franschhoek can go from sunny to cold and windy in a matter of a few hours. Make sure to check the weather forecast before your visit. Always have a jacket with you for in case.
