This is hands down the quaintest coffee spot in Franschhoek! The mill house is a working water mill, in fact, it’s the oldest in Africa - how cool is that :) An absolute must try is their cheesecake, it’s out of this world. We take the dogs with us in the mornings to grab a coffee and something to eat, and afterwards we take a walk through La Cotte’s gardens, with the beautiful Franschhoek mountains standing tall in the background.
