This is one of our favorite places to go with our kids. You can ride the smaller gondolas up to the Kreuzeck and walk a short way down to Kreuz Alm, a restaurant with an outdoor playground and an epic view of the Alpspitze peak.

You can choose to hike all the way down to the valley from here or hike all the way up to the Alpspitzbahn.

Alternatively you can hike up to the Hochalm and back down or take the Hochalmbahn up to the Alpspitzbahn.

This is a great place to find cows in the summer. It’s so special and tranquil to look at the mountains and listen to their bells.

This peak is home to the famous Kandahar Ski Run, known to be one of the steepest and most challenging in Europe. Each year this slope is the home to a World Cup Ski race which is so fun to attend if you ever get the chance!
