Toddler Sleep with the Midnight Sun

Here are some ways to protect your little one's sleep when it never truly gets dark.

The midnight sun is a surreal, magical thing. However, it can pose challenges to getting kids to fall and stay asleep. Especially for a curious toddler, our 3 year old kept telling me that it wasn't bed time yet because it wasn't dark... And even though our campervan had dark blue curtains, they weren't black out blinds so there was a significant amount of light coming in. I recommend either bringing a dark sheet or asking your camper van rental for extra dark fabric in attempt to darken the inside more. We used a mix of towels and clothing to try and make it as dark as possible.
