The Belly of the Dragon is a quirky geological wonder hidden beneath the red rocks of Utah. Originally dug as a drainage tunnel under Highway 89, this 100-yard-long cave has walls that look like the insides of a giant beast's belly. Over the years, flooding has shaped the tunnel into a rippling masterpiece. Make sure to check the weather as flash floods are common here. The hike is 1.8 miles out and back with 183 ft elevation gain but you reach the main tunnel very quickly.
