White Pocket is a stunning and remote sandstone formation located near the Arizona/Utah border in the Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness. Known for its swirling rock formations and unique colors, White Pocket offers a surreal and otherworldly landscape that is perfect for exploring. Visitors can access this natural wonder without a permit, but it's essential to be prepared for the challenging road conditions and unpredictable weather in the high desert. A great second option if you don't get a Wave permit (or even if you do), a photographers dream at sunrise and sunset as well as just cool to explore. Dogs and camping are allowed here. The road can be hard to get through, I recommend checking with the local rangers or only attempting with a 4x4 high clearance as the sand can be very deep. There are also tours that can take you out for a day trip. There are no facilities and it can get very hot so make sure you come prepared!
