Albion Basin, nestled in the Wasatch-Cache National Forest near Salt Lake City, is a prime spot for wildflower enthusiasts. With over 120 species of vibrant blooms like paintbrush, columbine, and lupine, this high-elevation meadow is a must-visit during July and August. Visitors can also catch a glimpse of local wildlife like marmots, moose, and mountain goats while hiking the scenic trails or taking a tram ride at Snowbird Ski Resort. As of 2024, you now have to pay and wait in line to access the close parking lot for Albion Basin espcially during the busy wildflower season. You can park at Alta and hike up, the AllTrails link is: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/utah/albion-meadows-trail?u=i&sh=uuscva
