This viewpoint was most likely the most beautiful view we ever had. To get here, you need to start your hike at the Landmannalaugar Camping Area https://maps.app.goo.gl/h7FrFUbSGNLvP6ep9. Take the Brennisteinsalda peak hike (ask the staff at the camping area about where the hike starts if you cannot find it) but just before the marked finish you need to turn left which I indicated green in the screenshots attached to this pin. The hike will take you about 1 hour one way and features the best landscapes ever. Be careful when walking on the ridge it is very slippery there.
