Kurvada is one of the best local food spots in Siargao and features traditional food from Siargao. When we first arrived, we were blown away by the amount of tourists in this one restaurant. It was literally impossible to find a seat at sunset. They are a buffet style restaurant on a trust basis, meaning the servers put you portions from a buffet on your plate and it is your job to take a photo of the plate and show it to the cashier after you finished your food. We usually had chicken terriyaki and rice. But everything we tried was delicious. Water is free of charge too.
