Malajon Island, also known as Black Island, is a mysterious and beautiful spot near Coron, Palawan not many people know about. To get there is tricky: take the local bus from Coron Town before 8am to Salvacion (1hr), then take trycycle to port or walk to Kings lodge and ask them to arrange a boat to black island (30-45min). If you are doing a day trip (which we recommend) be sure to be back way before 5 pm for the last bus to coron (ask people at bus station when the last bus is) and let your crew know that you have to be back before that time. Cost: 1650 PHP per person for the entire trip incl. boat (prices are subject to changes).
