Tegalalang rice terrace in Ubud is an absolute must visit during your stay in Bali and for me one of the top 3 attractions in Bali. I definitely recommend to visit for sunrise to capture and experience the sunray phenomenon where the sun rays shine through the palmtree leaves and are actually visible to the eye. During the day the rice terrace can be packed with tourists. The best time of the year to visit is February - June when the rice terrace is green.
