Parrizal de Beceite
Hike
Scenic river trail in Spain
📍Parrizal del Beceite
📍LOCATION:
El Parrizal Parking, Beceite (Coordinates: 40.79741509425354, 0.2033971753226288)
⚠️PRO Tips:
Tip 1: Reserve your parking entry in advance (there's no coverage in the area and you won't be able to book on-site) on the official Beceite website.
Tip 2: We advise starting the route 3.5 hours before sunset regardless of the month you visit. This way, you'll experience the best colors during sunset over the narrows and there will be much fewer people than in the morning.
➡️ A spectacular hike with elevated passages that crosses canyons, pools of transparent water, waterfalls, trails carved into the rock, and gorges in a stunning environment.
⚠️Important: Animals are not allowed on the route.
🕢HOURS: In Winter from 9:00 to 17:00 but it's extended in summer.
🎟️ ENTRANCE: €5 per person (except children who enter for free)
🗺️Hike: 8 kilometers and very easy, we completed it in 3 and a half hours stopping several times to take videos (but we usually walk at a fast pace), it can easily be done in 3 hours with hardly any slope.
👩👩👦👦 The hike is perfect for families with children, they will love walking on its walkways, but you have to watch over them as some are a bit narrow and they could fall into the water.
🧑🏻🦽The trail is not adapted for people with reduced mobility or baby strollers.
🥾Proper footwear is necessary because there are sections with stones, and when it rains it can be very slippery.
This is definitely one of our favorite hikes in Spain (and it is barelly known for people from abroad).
