The Mirador de la Memoria, located in El Torno, is a monument dedicated to the forgotten victims of the Civil War and dictatorship. The naked statues of three men and a woman stand tall, offering a poignant tribute amidst stunning views of the Sierra de Tormantos and the Jerte Valley. Despite a vandal's bullet holes, the sculptor decided to leave them as a powerful reminder of the monument's significance. It's a unique spot for reflection and a great photo op while exploring the beautiful landscapes of Extremadura.
