Where to buy the passes?
The most convenient way to purchase is online via official websites, allowing you to receive the ticket by email and print it at home (print@home format).
- On the official Berlin WelcomeCard website.
- Via the BVG website (Berlin's main public transport operator).
- Using official BVG apps (BVG Ticket-App or BVG Fahrinfo-App), where the digital ticket comes pre-validated and is stored on your phone.
In-Person Purchase in Berlin
If you prefer to buy in person, passes are available at various locations:
- Airport: at the Welcome Center at Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER).
- Train and Metro Stations: at ticket machines (accepting cash or cards) found at all U-Bahn and S-Bahn stations, or at BVG and S-Bahn customer service centers and sales points.
- Tourist Information Points: at Berlin Tourist Info Centres.
- Hotels and Retail Stores: many partner hotels and shops in Berlin also sell the passes.
If purchasing a physical ticket from a machine or sales point, remember to validate (stamp) it using one of the small machines on the station platforms or inside trams/buses before your first journey.
