Bonn | Annual events

Bonn has a very rich cultural agenda.

These are some of the main festivals and regular events:

1. Beethovenfest

   Every year, at the end of September, the classical music festival in honor of Beethoven takes place, with orchestras, open-air concerts, and events in various locations around the city.

2. Jazzfest Bonn

   In May (for 3 weeks), at the end of June (1 weekend) and on the last Saturday of September the jazz festival takes place in several concert halls and cultural spaces in Bonn.

3. Randale & Freunde Festival

   In summer, the always popular open-air music festival takes place in the Rheinaue area, the beautiful green area on the banks of the Rhine. Music, young audience and a relaxed atmosphere.

   Tickets vary depending on the artists, but for festivals of this type in Bonn you usually pay between €30 and €80 for large shows.

4. Panama Open Air

   It usually happens in the summer.

   It is an open-air electronic music festival, very popular with young people from all over Germany.

5. Karneval Bonn

   It takes place during the Carnival period in the last week before Lent. Parades, street parties, traditional events, costumes, popular joy.

6. Rhein in Flammen

   An unforgettable summer night with fireworks on the Rhine; illuminated boats; festivities on the banks of the river.

   It's a visual spectacle!
