Bonn has an integrated public transport network operated by Stadtwerke Bonn (SWB), which includes:

- City buses: covering the entire city and outlying areas.

- Trams: surface lines connecting neighborhoods and nearby regions.

- U-Bahn (light rail/subway): underground operations in some areas.

- S-Bahn and RE (regional trains): connecting Bonn to neighboring cities, such as Cologne.

The single ticket (*Einzelticket*) for adults costs €3.70 and for children €1.90; both prices apply to the "1b" fare zone, used for travel within Cologne or Bonn.

For travel to the metropolitan area (including the airport), or for trips between Cologne and Bonn, a "4" ticket must be purchased; it costs €10.30 for adults and €4.90 for children.
