Panoramic Point Overlook is a stunning spot located in Kings Canyon National Park. After a slightly tricky drive on a small dirt road, you will find a small parking area. After hiking up the short trail, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the Sierra Nevada mountains and Hume Lake. The hike is relatively flat and easy with minimal elevation gain. Panoramic Point faces toward the east so it is an excellent place to watch a sunrise over the mountains in Kings Canyon National Park. Sunset is also spectacular since the light changes the colors of the mountains in front of you as it sets. Remember to leave no trace and pack out anything that you bring with you to this amazing location.
