Gellért Hill is a 235m high hill in Budapest, Hungary, overlooking the Danube River. Named after Saint Gerard, who was thrown to his death from the hill, it is home to the famous Hotel Gellért and Gellért Baths. The hill offers a panoramic view of the city from the Citadella at its peak. With a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages, Gellért Hill has seen various events, including battles during World War II and the Hungarian Revolution. Today, it is an affluent residential area with parkland and caves, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists to explore.
