The heart of modern Skopje. This massive square is surrounded by neoclassical-style buildings, fountains, and the famous "Warrior on a Horse" statue (widely known as Alexander the Great). It's the perfect starting point for exploring the city — the Stone Bridge, Old Bazaar, and riverfront are all a short walk away. The square is lit up dramatically at night and makes for great photos.
