Lago di Braies, also known as Pragser Wildsee, is a stunning alpine lake nestled in the Italian Dolomites. With its crystal-clear waters and dramatic mountain backdrop, it's no wonder this spot has become a popular destination for visitors. We were able to rent a rowboat for 45 minutes for 50 euros, however it is free to do the 1 hour scenic trail hike around the lake. You can also swim in the lake. There are a few places to eat here and I recommend stopping at Emma's Bistro for lunch or drinks. There are plenty of ways to enjoy the beauty of Lago di Braies. Just be prepared for crowds during the summer months and make sure to arrive early to beat the rush!
