Berserkjahraun is a 4000-year-old lava field located on the Snæfellsnes peninsula in Iceland. According to Icelandic Sagas, two berserkers from Sweden were tasked with clearing a path through the lava field by a farmer. They completed the impossible task, only to be betrayed and killed by the farmer. The lava field was formed by four scoria craters erupting around 4000 years ago, creating a unique landscape of red and grey craters. Visitors can explore this historical and geological site while enjoying the stunning views of the surrounding area.
