Rauðinúpur Cape, located in North-East Iceland, is a stunning natural wonder that juts out 73 meters into the sea. Its vibrant red color, caused by red lapilli, can only be fully appreciated while walking along the rocky shore. The cape is home to two majestic sea stacks, named "Karlinn" and "Sölvanöf," which are teeming with birdlife, including gannets, guillemots, fulmars, and kittiwakes. Visitors can hike to the top of the cape, where they'll find a lighthouse and a crater bowl from an ancient volcano. Just watch out for the territorial Arctic terns, they can be quite feisty! Overall, Rauðinúpur Cape offers a unique and awe-inspiring experience for nature lovers and bird enthusiasts alike.
