Kvernufoss is a hidden gem in South Iceland that often gets overlooked by tourists. Located near the popular Skogafoss waterfall, this stunning cascade of water plunges down 98 feet from lava rock cliffs. It's the perfect spot for those who want to avoid crowds and enjoy a quiet experience. Plus, photographers love it because they can capture amazing shots without any people in the frame. To reach Kvernufoss, you'll need to take a short hike from the Skogar Cultural Heritage Museum. Just be careful on the slippery rocks and behind the falls!
