Brimketill lava rock pool is a stunning natural attraction located on the Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland. It's known for its unique beauty that changes with the seasons and its fascinating folklore. Legend has it that a giantess or troll named Oddný used to bathe and wash her clothes in the pool, which is why it was originally called Oddný's Pool. But don't let the serene photos fool you - it can be dangerous to enter Brimketill, especially during rough weather when waves crash over it. So, it's best to admire this picturesque spot from a safe distance and explore other nearby attractions like the Seltún Geothermal Area and the famous Blue Lagoon spa.
