Praça dos Três Poderes, also known as Three Powers Plaza, is a bustling square in Brasília, Brazil, where the three branches of government come together - the Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary. Designed by Lúcio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer, this plaza is not just a political hub but also a popular tourist spot. It's home to the world's largest regularly flown flag, weighing a whopping 600 kilograms! Recently, the plaza made headlines when it was unexpectedly invaded by supporters of former president Jair Bolsonaro. Overall, it's a vibrant and significant place that showcases Brazil's democratic institutions in action.
