The Rio Negro Bridge, also known as the Journalist Phelippe Daou Bridge, is a cable-stayed bridge in Brazil that spans the Rio Negro river, connecting Manaus with Iranduba. It's a whopping 3,595 meters long and stands at a height of 185 meters. Despite being a major feat of engineering, some controversy surrounds its construction due to potential environmental impacts in the Amazon basin. The bridge doesn't quite connect to the rest of Brazil yet, but it's sparking discussions about expanding the federal highway BR-319 for better access. Overall, it's a cool bridge with big potential!
