Catedral de Pedra in Canela is like something out of a Christmas dream during the Sonho de Natal festival. This English Gothic stone cathedral stands tall with its 65m-high tower and a carillon of 12 bells made of Italian bronze. Inside, you'll find a stunning Last Supper-themed altar carved in wood by sculptor Julius Tixe from Uruguay. No wonder it was voted one of the Seven Wonders of Brazil in 2010! It's a must-see for anyone visiting Rio Grande do Sul.
