The Fortress of Palamidi is a majestic baroque fort located in Nafplio, Greece. The fortress stands atop an impressive 216-metre (709 ft) high hill and is filled with fascinating stories from the past.

Built by Venetians during the 1700s, featuring 8 bastions dedicated to former rulers and conquerors, tourists will love exploring its long winding staircases, deep prison cells and glorious views of the Argolic Gulf, city of Náfplio and surrounding area. You don't want to miss this remarkable and historically rich fortress!
