Parking/Track:

This hut is not far off the Borland Road. With a 4WD, you can actually drive right to the hut which is in the Green Lake Hut carpark. With a 2WD you'll have to park on the side of the road at the junction to the carpark and walk the 200m on the rocky road down to the hut. If you're brave and don't mind possibly getting a 2WD stuck far from call reception, you could drive all the way to the hut in that too possibly.

Hut:

The hut is a small 2-bed bivouac with individual beds. No space on the floor to put the mattresses next to each other.

Recommendations:

This is a great spot to spend the night before heading out to Green Lake Hut to get an early start on the track. Otherwise you could also just stay here during a fun adventure exploring the Borland Road which is a pretty epic drive with amazing views and some short walks too.
