This is the iconic spot where all families hang out and let their kids mingle and socialize. It’s a peaceful space for parents to relax, have a coffee, and chit-chat with friends, knowing their kids are away from the busy streets. Over the weekends, there could be some events here.
Built between 1925 and 1929 (then demolished in WWII, and rebuilt from 1993 to 2004) in neo-Byzantine / Serbian-Orthodox style, the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is one of Banja Luka’s most beautiful architectural landmarks. The façade features red and yellow travertine, golden domes, and a bell tower rising to about 47 meters.
