What you'll do
Day 1
Eumundi Markets - Wednesday & Saturday
Sightseeing
Vibrant, VERY popular local market
The Eumundi Markets is a vibrant and eclectic market, where locals showcase their handcrafted treasures every Wednesday and Saturday. From arts and crafts to fashion, food, and more, there's something for everyone to enjoy. With live music, delicious food stalls, and a welcoming atmosphere, it's the perfect place to shop, eat, and soak up the lively vibes. Whether you're looking for unique gifts or just want to experience a fun day out, Eumundi Markets has got you covered rain, hail, or shine.
Noosa Rivermouth - Where the travellers hang
park
Awesome carpark to socialise and enjoy the sunset
The Noosa Rivermouth is a popular spot amongst travellers and backpackers to escape the chaos of town and enjoy an afternoon by the beach. Parking is easy and right on the waterfront, so my friends and I love to kick back here for sunset and cook up dinner.
Rangers are hit and miss here, but generally Noosa is pretty strict for free camping - so ask the other travellers if they're stealth camping/ where they've been staying x
Noosa National Park - Carpark overlooking the point break
beach
Gateway to the surrounding beaches, surf and hikes
If you can snag this spot, well done - because this is the best spot to base yourself if you're in Noosa. The photos you get from here are incredible, and more often than not you'll find other travellers parked nearby too!
This pin is on the waterfront of the iconic Noosa point break - such a fun wave if you have a longboard! It's also the gateway to the Noosa National Park; with heaps of walking tracks, each offering its own unique experience. You can take the coastal track, which winds along the cliffs, offering spectacular ocean views and opportunities to spot dolphins, whales (during migration season), and turtles.
For a more challenging walk, the Noosa Hill track takes you to the park’s highest point, where you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views of Noosa Heads, Laguna Bay, and the surrounding coastline.
The park’s beaches, like Alexandria Bay, are pristine and often quieter than those in the more developed areas of Noosa.
If you're looking for surf, the locals generally hit Tea Trea.
Ask the other travellers in vans about rangers when stealth camping.
