Kruja Bazaar is the historic heart of Krujë and a great place to wander through traditional market streets leading up to Krujë Castle. The cobblestone bazaar is lined with small stalls selling souvenirs, handmade crafts, carpets, antiques, and traditional Albanian items, making it one of the best places in the country to shop for gifts. If you’re driving, a convenient place to park is near Hotel Panorama Kruje, where you can also stop for a coffee or meal with a great view over the surrounding hills.

It’s definitely worth walking through the bazaar and browsing the shops, but personally I’d treat it as an optional stop on the way north. It’s most worthwhile if you’re looking to buy souvenirs or plan to visit the museums inside Krujë Castle.
