Mihalis Apartments in Himara is a budget-friendly, simple hotel located a short drive from the center of town. The rooms are basic but offer a great view over the sea, and the family that runs the place is very friendly. On our first visit a few summers ago, we even enjoyed a glass of raki with the owners the night we arrived. The hotel also has parking, making it convenient if you’re traveling by car, though I wouldn’t recommend it if you plan to walk into town at night. Prices are around 4,000–5,000 Lek (€40–50) per night. It used to be possible to walk from here to Livadi Beach, but recent construction may have blocked some of those paths.
