If you’re looking for a simple yet charming place to stay in the center of Shkodër, Atelier Restaurant & Boutique Hotel is a great choice. It’s located just off the main walking street, so you’re right in the heart of the city. The rooms are cozy, nicely decorated, and fairly priced: especially considering the prime location.

What really sets Atelier apart, though, is the restaurant. It’s one of the best in Shkodër, so even if you don’t stay the night, it’s worth coming for dinner. The menu is creative and well done, and the dining space has a warm, stylish feel.

Since the hotel rooms are located directly above the restaurant, you might hear some noise in the evenings. That said, it usually doesn’t go late into the night and isn’t much of a problem. For me, Atelier strikes the balance of being both a comfortable stay and a spot where you can enjoy some of the city’s best food: all without leaving the hotel.
