Livadhi Beach, near Himara, is one of my personal favorite beaches on the Albanian Riviera. It’s easy to get to and not hidden or remote, and though like most beaches in Albania, you can expect it to be lined with sunbeds during peak summer season. The water here is especially clear and beautiful, and I personally prefer it to the nearby Jale Beach, which in my experience tends to feel more crowded. A good tip is to visit in the morning, when it’s much quieter and more peaceful: even a quick swim before the crowds arrive is worth it. There used to be a walking path through the woods from Himara, but it may now be blocked due to construction, so it’s best to go by car, which takes about 10 minutes from Himara.
