Fig and Olive is the restaurant at Aphrodite’s Garden, a small hilltop hotel in Himarë just a short drive from Livadhi Beach. Even if you’re not staying at the hotel, I’d still highly recommend coming here for dinner, especially around sunset. The elevated setting gives you beautiful coastal views and one of the more memorable dining atmospheres in the area.

The seating is outdoors, which makes the experience even better on warm summer evenings. The menu is very tasty and more creative than many standard Riviera restaurants, with dishes that make good use of local ingredients and feel thoughtfully prepared. It’s a great place if you want something a little more special than the usual beachside meal.

Both the hotel and restaurant are seasonal and typically only open during the summer months. I’d recommend reserving ahead during July and August.
