Plazhi i Piratëve is one of the best hidden beach stops near Himarë and is only accessible by boat, which gives it a more private and peaceful feel than neighboring spots like Gjipe.

You can visit with operators such as Himara Seas The Day, though many boat companies departing from Himarë Beach include it in their route. The beach is known for its very clear turquoise water and dramatic natural setting. One of the highlights is Pigeon’s Cave, a beautiful cave located right on the beach. There are also some smaller caves right along the shore of Plazhi I Piratëve.

A lot of boat tours make a short swim stop here, but if you choose the right trip or private boat, it’s worth staying an hour or two to relax on the beach and enjoy the atmosphere. There are no beach bars, restaurants, or facilities, so bring water if you plan to stay longer.

Overall, it’s a great boat-access beach experience from Himarë and one of the nicer ways to escape the busier Riviera beaches.
