ALBARENT is the car rental company I personally use most often in Tirana. They’re very professional, and I’ve consistently had smooth, reliable experiences renting from them, especially for short trips.
I usually go with ALBARENT when I just need a small, simple car for a weekend trip, often heading down to the Albanian Riviera. They typically have options like Hyundai i30s (seen in second photo), and prices are usually around €35–40 per day, though this can increase during peak summer months (July/August). One thing to note is that their larger cars (SUVs) are priced significantly higher, as they fall under their “luxury” category.
They’re also conveniently located in the center of Tirana, making pickup and drop-off easy. Overall, I’d say they’re a very solid and dependable choice, especially for straightforward, short-term rentals.
As with any rental company, I’d recommend taking a quick video of the car before leaving to document any existing scratches or damage, just as a precaution.
