The Barrels Ms (Te Fuçite) is located about a 10-minute drive from the center of Gjirokastër, set on a quiet farm surrounded by greenery, olive trees, and vineyards. It’s a perfect spot for a long, relaxed lunch in the fresh air.

The food is local and homemade, with fresh ingredients often sourced directly from the farm. Expect grilled meats, seasonal vegetables, and house specialties: the quality is exceptional. They also serve their own wine or raki.

Prices are very reasonable (around €10–20 per person), portions are generous, and service is warm and welcoming. Overall, it’s my top choice near Gjirokastër for both the food and the peaceful atmosphere.
