Hotel Sofo Llogara is worth mentioning mainly for its restaurant, rather than as a place to stay. I’ve stayed overnight here before and found the rooms to be fine overall, but the beds weren’t very comfortable. Where this place really shines is the food, making it a perfect stop if you’re driving through Llogara Pass. The yogurt with walnuts and honey is a must-try, completely fresh and simple, and the grilled meats are also very popular and well done. With the new tunnel giving drivers the option to bypass Llogara Pass, the restaurant may be less busy, but it’s still absolutely worth stopping if you take the scenic mountain route.
