Even though I only have had coffee here, Bar Restorant Ujëvara was one of those places that felt right to stop and take in the view. It sits above the Cem River in Tamarë with a peaceful view of the surrounding mountains, and it’s a great place to grab a cold drink and cool off.

The best part is that you can walk right down from the restaurant to swim in the river below. The water is icy and crystal clear, especially refreshing on a hot summer day. Whether you’re driving to Lëpushë or staying nearby, this is a perfect place to pause and reset.

While I didn’t try the food myself, the menu looked solid: grilled meats, fresh trout, and local specialties, and everything coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled delicious.

If you’re passing through Tamarë and want a peaceful break, Bar Restorant Ujëvara is a perfect little riverside stop: whether you’re there for lunch or just a dip and a drink.
