Glymur Waterfall is Iceland's second-tallest waterfall, standing at 650 feet high and fed by the river Botnsa. The hike to Glymur takes about three and a half hours round trip from the car park, with a thrilling river crossing and steep climb up the canyon. The name "Glymur" comes from an old Icelandic legend involving a man-turned-whale and a loud, echoing rumble.
