Borgarfjarðarhöfn, also known as Borgarfjordur Eystri, is a prime spot in Iceland to catch a glimpse of puffins, those adorable little seabirds with colorful beaks. Located in the remote northeastern corner of Iceland, this area offers a good chance to see puffins during their breeding season from mid-April to early August. The road to get there may be a bit challenging with gravel sections and steep mountain passes, but the reward of seeing these charming birds up close is totally worth it! Don't forget your camera, binoculars, and maybe a rain jacket, and get ready for a puffin-tastic adventure in Borgarfjarðarhöfn!
