From vintage markets and open-air parties to local festivals and creative pop-ups, there’s plenty happening across the city. Here are five events worth checking out this weekend:
1. Vagabond Open Air
📍 Frihamnstorget
📅 June 6
Fashion brand Vagabond is turning Frihamnstorget into a free open-air event with DJs, music, food, drinks and a summer crowd. Entrance is free, but registration is required and spots are limited. If you're into creative events, music and Stockholm's fashion scene, this is probably one of the coolest National Day parties happening this weekend.
2. Eken Marknad
📍 Slakthusområdet
📅 June 6–7
Stockholm's biggest curated vintage market is back and bigger than ever. More than 400 vendors will be selling vintage fashion, second-hand treasures, design pieces, vinyl records, crafts and much more.
Add food stalls, DJs and thousands of visitors and you've got one of the best weekend hangouts in the city.
3. CAY Collective – Scandi Tour
📍 Stockholm
📅 June 7
CAY Collective is bringing its first-ever event tour to Stockholm together with a curated group of creators from the worlds of art, fashion, ceramics and interior design. 4. National Day Celebration at Rålambshovsparken
📍 Rålambshovsparken
📅 June 6
Celebrate Sweden’s National Day right in the heart of Stockholm. Kungsträdgården will be filled with live music, sing-alongs, Swedish classics, gospel, activities, food trucks, drinks and a festive atmosphere for the whole family. Expect everything from Swedish favourites and troubadours to gospel with Tensta Joyful Noise, plus two tribute acts closing the evening: Visitors with ABBA classics and Walk The Earth with Europe’s biggest rock hits.
5. Festivalen i Kärrtorp
📍 Kärrtorp
📅 June 5–7
One of Stockholm's most charming local festivals returns to Kärrtorp Square. Expect live music, food trucks, workshops, theatre performances, art, dancing and a large community atmosphere. There's also an art market and flea market throughout the weekend. Perfect if you're looking for a more local Stockholm experience away from the city centre.
