Just past Horseshoe Bay, you'll find one of our local gems, Whytecliff Park, where the mountains dramatically meet the sea. It's a stunning spot with a rocky beach perfect for scrambling and trails that offer incredible views over Howe Sound. If you time your visit with the low tide, you can walk across to the small, rugged Whyte Islet for an even better vantage point. It’s also an incredible spot for scuba dive in the protected marine sanctuary or get a chance to watch whales swim by.
