You’ll find Garbh Eilean Wildlife Hide is a small, unstaffed coastal hide best for quietly watching seabirds, seals and the occasional otter; access is usually a short walk from a minor roadside parking spot over uneven ground, so wear sturdy shoes and waterproofs. Bring binoculars or a spotting scope, snacks and layers because the hide is the only shelter and there are no facilities or reliable phone signals. Aim for early morning or late evening for the most activity, keep noise to a minimum, control pets and take all litter with you since parking is limited and the site is fragile.
