Eoropie is a small, windswept sand-and-pebble beach at the far north of Lewis, so expect a short walk from a roadside layby across dunes and uneven ground; wear sturdy shoes and bring waterproof layers because weather and wind change fast. There are no facilities, limited parking and often patchy phone signal, so pack water, snacks and any essentials; dogs are usually fine but keep them under control around wildlife and crofting land. The spot is great for dramatic photos and seal and seabird sightings, but there is no lifeguard and currents can be strong, so avoid swimming alone and check tides if you plan to explore rockier sections.
