Pasir Timbul on Mansuar is a temporary sandbar that pops up at low tide, so you get a postcard-perfect spot for swimming, snorkeling, and photos but no shade, toilets, or vendors. You can only reach it by boat as part of a day trip from nearby islands or Waisai, and operators usually time visits for low tide, so confirm when to land and that your skipper will wait for the tide. Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, reef shoes, and a snorkel mask, keep an eye on currents and kids, and take all trash with you. Remember Raja Ampat has marine park rules and entrance fees, so arrange payment through your operator and avoid touching coral or disturbing wildlife.
